Öl
Ölmalerei wird gerne als die höchste Disziplin der Malerei bezeichnet. Die Farben werden meist mit einem Pinsel aufgetragen und sind besonders lange haltbar. So ist auch zu erklären, dass die meisten großen und vor allem alten Kunstwerke mit Ölfarben gemalt worden sind. Zum Verdünnen wird Terpentin benutzt.
